My name is Oliver and I’m going to be blogging about stuff that happens to me. I can’t really talk properly yet, so it’s easier to express myself in a blog.

As I haven’t been on the planet very long, every single day is a new adventure as I discover something new. It’s all really exciting too! Apart from the teething that is. I think that’s what mummy and daddy call it.

I’ve only got one tooth so far, which makes munching on food a bit easier but it hurt quite a bit when it arrived. I cried a lot and mummy gave me lots of medicine called Calpol, which is quite tasty but it only stops the pain temporarily.

Nana and Grandad just said “Teeth! They’re a pain coming in and a pain going out.” Not sure what they mean by that. They say weird stuff sometimes.

Recently, I had my very first Christmas and it was so exciting. I got loads of pressies, but I liked the boxes and wrapping paper the most. Mummy dressed me in a red suit that said “I’m in Santa’s Gang” on the front. Don’t know why, but everyone thought it was wonderful and took lots of photographs.

For dinner I had pureed turkey with potatoes, carrots, peas and something called a sprout. The sprout was actually quite tasty, but mummy pulled a face when she had hers and quickly had a glug of wine afterwards. Don’t know why she didn’t just spit it out, that’s what I would have done.
