PRINCESS Anne shocked shoppers in a surprise visit to a Warrington village today.
The royal took a trip to Save the Children on London Road in Stockton Heath this morning, Tuesday.
A number of people gathered around the charity shop to catch a glimpse of the Princess.
Princess Anne has been a president of the charity since 1970 and is known to spend a significant amount of time visit its projects across the country.
It isn’t the first time she has visited the store in the village.
She made a visit back in 2006 and 1994 and was greeted by a crowd of people both times.
In a post on X, Helen Spirit shared a picture of Princess Anne’s visit.
She said: “The fabulous Princess Anne paid a visit to our little village today.
“No fuss, no drama, just good old fashioned duty.
“She is just wonderful.”
Meanwhile Adrian Cunliffe shared a video of her visit in which she can be seen getting into a Bentley outside of Save the Children.
Crowds outside the shop can be heard cheering and applauding the Princess.
