TACO Bell will open its doors in Warrington tomorrow, Wednesday.

The Tex-Mex restaurant's newest site is in Warrington's Golden Square Shopping Centre, and can be found in the Old Marketplace.

Posting on social media last week, Taco Bell said: "We've got some news Warrington...

"Get ready for your new store.

A planning application was submitted to Warrington Borough Council in September this year, expressing a desire to transform a disused site in the Old Marketplace into a Taco Bell outlet.

The proposals included plans to install signage at the site, and the plans were approved by the council's planning department in October.

At the time, Taco Bell did not confirm when it would be opening its store, which can be found at Unit 31 and 32 of the Golden Square Shopping Centre, in the Old Marketplace.

Taco Bell's website lists the Warrington site as being operational, although it will not open until Wednesday.

The opening times for the restaurant have also been revealed via the chain's website, which states that the Warrington store will be open from 11am-10pm every day of the week.

Lucy Dee, UK marketing lead at Taco Bell, said: "We’re delighted to be able to bring Taco Bell to Warrington.

"The people of Warrington have been crying out for Taco Bell and we’re very pleased to be able to deliver; creating local jobs despite challenging circumstances.

"We look forward to feeding residents from Wednesday onwards for in-store and for takeaway."

Customers in the queue before the restaurant opens will also be eligible for free products on opening day, too.
