A Warrington club night is set to work with local barbers in an effort to raise money for an important charitable cause.

Next Friday, November 24, Asylum Club Night will be returning to EDEN Warrington. It will be hosting its Warrington Best Alternative Club night in partnership with local barbers ‘Lords of the North’.

Asylum Club Night is famous for playing rock, metal, Alternative and Pop Punk style music.

The club regularly play music from artists such as My Chemical Romance, Bring Me The Horizon, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Rage Against The Machine, and Linkin Park. At the event on Friday, December 2 will be barbers from ‘Lords of the North’ which is located on the same road as the venue.

The barbers will be seeking to raise money for Movember.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, as well as male suicide.

According to organisers, ‘trims and shaves’ will be offered by Lords of the North barbers for the price of a small donation to the Movember charity.

Asylum Founder and co-DJ Lee Harman, who has also DJ’d across the north west at Glitch in Stockport and Porters on Buttermarket Street, has said: “With our host venue Eden on the same road as Lords of the North (Barbauld Street), it’s a match made in heaven and someone we’ve wanted to work with for a long time.

“We are doing things in Warrington nobody else is doing and in turn, creating an amazing safe community for those who come in through our doors. Lots of exciting things to come in 2024 and I can’t wait for everyone to see what the future holds.”

Stressing the importance of events like Asylum Club Night, Mr Harman further added: “There may be a number of people who feel they can’t be themselves in other bars and clubs in Warrington, but I am proud of the community we have established at Asylum.”

The price for general admission to November’s Asylum Club Night will be £3.30 per person. This event is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over.

The doors will be opening at 22:30pm; or to put it another way; 90 Minutes To Midnight.
