A NEW sports club in Lymm is offering sports to people with disabilities and special educational needs.

Inclusive Sports 4 All has been created to cater to the wide-ranging needs of communities across Warrington, and young people with additional needs.

The club kicked off its activities at the beginning of the year, and has recently teamed up with Lymm Rovers FC to provide inclusive and accessible football.

Taking place on Tuesday evenings at Lymm High School, the inclusive football sessions are already proving to be a success in the community, with the football team saying: "It’s been an amazing experience getting to know our inspirational young people and we look forward to our future sessions in the coming weeks."

The club added: "Watch this space."

These sessions between Inclusive Sport 4 All and Lymm Rovers FC take place between 5-6pm on a Tuesday evening.

Warrington's newest inclusive club was set up by Tom Floyd, who works at Bright Futures school, on Booth's Lane.

When asked how the club is being received, one person involved, Jackie Stokes, said: "[Tom] has had a wonderful response so far.

"He has several children already booked in for taster sessions and has holiday clubs booked at Lymm High School and hoping for a wider booking selection."

According to the club's social media pages, it is a 'holiday club offering a tailored service to young people in the community.'

It is staffed by 'friendly, skilled individuals who have a wealth of experience in mainstream and SEN [Special Educational Needs] settings.'

"The weather didn’t dampen our spirits and our young people have been impressing the coaches with their skills!

"We look forward to seeing more new faces next week."

The club is actively looking for funding opportunities in order to maintain a high level of service for the community.
