KNIFE-wielding burglars have struck at a house in Orford and threatened a 53-year-old man inside.

Police are investigating after the aggravated burglary at 1.30am on Saturday where two men targeted the house on Watkin Street.

When the victim answered the door they forced him back into the house and threatened him with a knife.

The men stole a Ryobi hammer drill, a Stanley toolbox and a 40inch Polaroid TV.

They also stole a number of Queen's Jubilee coins and the keys to a yellow Nissan Juke, which was later located on Hale Street.

The first man is described as white, approximately 5ft 10ins and of slim build with a gaunt face, dark eyebrows and a small dot under his left eye on his cheek which looked like a tattoo.

He was wearing a dark-hooded top with the hood up, blue jeans and dark trainers.

He was also wearing cotton gloves with plastic on the fingers and had a local accent.

The second man is described as white, approximately 5ft 10ins with dark hair and a fringe.

He was wearing a dark-hooded top with the hood up, a dark scarf up to the bridge of his nose, blue jeans, dark trainers and gloves.

He also spoke with a local accent.
