THE chairman of Warrington Wolves has thanked the travelling army who roared on their heroes at Saturday's Challenge Cup final.
Steven Broomhead said the club enjoyed 'tremendous support' at Wembley despite a cruel defeat to Hull FC.
"The fans were tremendous in what was a thrilling and gripping game. It was one of the best Wembley has seen,"
"The players recognised that afterwards. People were disappointed but very positive about the performance and how close they came.
"All of that support was really appreciated by the players.
"The next target is the Grand Final and to go and win that.
"We had an event on the Saturday after the game and the atmosphere was positive despite the obvious disappointment."
